What is PaintPlanner?
PaintPlanner is an innovative paint calculator and estimation tool that leverages LiDAR scanning technology to deliver precise measurements without the need for manual measuring or data entry. Designed for both DIY enthusiasts and professional painters, this app simplifies the process of calculating paint requirements by automatically scanning the room's dimensions. It accurately subtracts doors, windows, and other openings, ensuring that your paint estimate is as accurate as possible. Users can save multiple estimates, adjust the number of coats, and modify paint coverage settings to match different paint types and surfaces. The app requires a LiDAR-supported device, such as recent iPad Pro or iPhone Pro models, to function optimally. Developed by Emil Baehr in Copenhagen, PaintPlanner is tailored for anyone looking to streamline their painting projects, reduce waste, and save time. Whether you are planning a single room makeover or a large-scale renovation, this tool provides reliable data to help you purchase the right amount of paint. Its intuitive interface makes it easy to use, even for those with minimal technical experience. By eliminating guesswork, PaintPlanner helps users avoid the common pitfalls of overbuying or underbuying paint, ultimately saving money and reducing environmental impact. The app's ability to store estimates allows for easy reference and comparison, making it a valuable resource for contractors managing multiple projects. With its focus on accuracy and efficiency, PaintPlanner is a must-have tool for modern painting projects.
