What is Pedagogue AI?
Pedagogue AI is a comprehensive AI enablement, learning, and governance platform designed specifically for UK educators. It provides practical, bite-sized training modules that fit seamlessly between lessons, enabling teachers to develop AI skills at their own pace. The platform is built in collaboration with St Paul's Girls' School and distributed by SOCS to over 1,200 schools, ensuring it meets the real-world needs of educators.
Key features include structured micro-learning that complements INSET days, on-demand access to training, and a Resource Library (available from 1 September) with briefings and practical resources. Teachers learn when AI enhances learning and when it undermines it, as well as how to detect AI-assisted pupil work. Every teacher earns a verifiable AI Passport as proof of literacy, while leaders receive evidence packs for governors and inspections, mapped to KCSIE and DfE guidance.
Benefits include turning fragmented AI use into school-wide capability, building staff confidence, and ensuring governance readiness. Use cases range from saving time in the classroom to guiding pupils' AI use and maintaining safe practices. Progress is tracked automatically, and schools can invite three members of their AI working group to a free 7-day trial with no card or obligation.
Technical details: The platform offers bite-sized modules on AI literacy, classroom application, and safe practice. It provides evidence packs aligned with UK education standards, and the AI Passport system offers verifiable credentials. The platform is web-based, accessible on demand, and designed for whole-staff training. With a focus on practical, actionable learning, Pedagogue AI sets the standard for AI enablement in UK education.
