What is Claude Code Manager?
Claude Code Manager (CCM) is a free, open-source native desktop application that centralizes management of all Claude Code configuration files. Instead of hunting through directories for YAML files, CCM provides a single window where you can create, edit, and organize agents, commands, skills, memory, rules, hooks, MCP servers, and more across every project you touch. It supports ten distinct configuration types: specialized Claude personas with custom prompts, tools, and models; slash-command shortcuts that invoke Claude with preset context; reusable knowledge modules; path-based policies governing Claude's actions; event triggers for tool use and session start; Model Context Protocol integrations via stdio, SSE, or HTTP; project-wide instructions; persistent project context; user-level marketplace extensions; and searchable conversation history grouped by project. CCM eliminates the pain of manual file management by displaying your global config and every project's .claude folder side by side. You can promote a project agent to global, copy a user skill into a specific repo, or scope configurations without copy-pasting YAML. Dependency tracking prevents broken sessions: if a command points to a missing skill, CCM flags it immediately. Every entity shows what uses it and what it depends on, so you know the blast radius before renaming, moving, or deleting. A powerful search and ⌘K command palette lets you jump to any agent, command, or conversation across all scopes. Past sessions are grouped by project, allowing you to revisit or archive conversations. CCM is available for macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel), Windows (.msi), and Linux (.deb, .rpm). The latest version is 0.5.0. It is free and open source, with builds downloadable from the release page.
