What is Frugal?
Frugal is a proactive visibility and control platform designed to optimize cloud and AI costs by tracing spending directly to source code. Unlike traditional tools that focus on infrastructure right-sizing, Frugal targets application code and managed service usage, addressing a growing share of cloud expenses. By making code more efficient, it reduces workloads rather than just shrinking servers. Frugal is AI-native, not only identifying waste but also automatically generating pull requests with coded fixes, enabling developers to cut costs without slowing down.
The platform supports all major coding languages and works across AWS, GCP, Azure, and third-party services. Least privilege access is enforced, and data is never shared with third parties or used for AI training. A private deployment option is available for high-security environments. Frugal is SOC 2 Type II audited and built by a team with decades of enterprise security experience.
