What is Scraps?
Scraps is the ideation sketchbook designed for creative professionals who want to capture, organize, and transform their creative inspirations with AI-powered tools. Unlike traditional note-taking apps, Scraps embraces raw, fragmented input—audio snippets, scribbles, photos, and text—rejecting rigid productivity norms to nurture genuine insight. Inspired by Dada and Surrealism, it acts as a digital sketchbook for your subconscious, helping you collect spontaneous sparks that fuel brilliance. The more you capture, the more powerful Scraps becomes. It evolves into a personal knowledge base, using AI to find unexpected connections between your ideas, surface relevant past thoughts, and provide contextually-aware suggestions when you're stuck. This AI-powered creative partner helps you blend ideas into something new, discuss and develop concepts, and rediscover forgotten inspirations. Whether you're brainstorming campaigns, developing a novel, or designing a product, Scraps accelerates your thinking process without replacing it. Key features include a smart whiteboard, sketchbook, journal, and brainstorming canvas all in one. You can capture ideas on the go—while commuting, walking, or lying in bed—ensuring no fleeting thought is lost. The AI reveals unexpected connections, acting as a creative partner to help you see your thoughts in new ways. Trusted by creatives worldwide, Scraps is free to use with no credit card required. It's the ideation layer that transforms your scattered inspirations into a cohesive, searchable, and interconnected knowledge base.
