What is Browse.sh?

Browse.sh is an open catalog of browser automation skills designed to empower AI agents with reusable recipes for completing tasks on any website. The platform provides a unified CLI that combines skills, browser primitives, debugging tools, and cloud session management, all optimized for AI-driven automation. By leveraging suggested DOM selectors and XHR requests, Browse.sh reduces token costs by up to 50x, making automation more efficient and cost-effective.

Key features include low-level browser primitives such as click, scroll, type, hover, and press, which allow AI agents to interact with web pages programmatically. Elements can be addressed by CSS selectors or accessibility references, ensuring flexibility across different page structures. Real-time monitoring of network and console logs gives agents and developers full visibility into page behavior, facilitating debugging and validation.

Browse.sh includes a rich set of pre-built skills for common tasks. For example, it can search active federal contract opportunities on SAM.gov by status, notice type, place of performance, date range, NAICS, and set-aside, returning detailed results including title, notice ID, agency hierarchy, and response deadlines. Another skill reserves daily fitness classes at X-Core Studio by firing at the exact second the booking window opens, running unattended overnight. It can also find upcoming Ticketmaster events for artists or teams, returning venue, date, on-sale windows, presale times, and sold-out statusβ€”all via Ticketmaster's internal API behind a residential proxy. Additionally, it retrieves live FlightAware status for flights, including state, origin/destination, times, aircraft, route, delay, and a live-map link. For employer insights, it extracts Glassdoor ratings, sub-rating averages, CEO approval percentages, and filtered employee reviews.

Technical details: All CLI commands work natively with local Chromium, and users can switch to remote sessions on Browserbase's Platform by prefixing commands with "cloud." The platform is designed to be driven by AI agents, with suggested selectors and XHR requests that minimize token usage. Browse.sh is ideal for developers building AI-powered automation workflows, QA engineers needing reliable browser interactions, and businesses seeking to automate repetitive web tasks at scale. Its open catalog encourages community contribution, making it a growing resource for browser automation skills.
